The “Nugget-Powerhouse” stretch of the Rogue River is a terrific half-day rafting trip. It’s offered three times per day by Indigo Creek Outfitters. Their trips meet at 8:15 a.m., 10:15 a.m., and 1:15 p.m. The 10:15 a.m. trip includes a lunch while the other two options are a touch faster.
Half-day Rogue River rafting trips meet at Indigo Creek Outfitters’ Rafting Center: 205 North Phoenix Road, Suite K, Phoenix, OR 97535. The Rafting Center is five miles north of Ashland on Interstate-5 off of Exit 24.
